Limited Warranty Policy

1. General Warranty Statement & Term At [Company Name], we take pride in the engineering and quality of our performance kits. We offer a [e.g., 1-Year / 2-Year] Limited Hardware Warranty to the original purchaser, starting from the date of delivery. This warranty guarantees that our tuning modules, wiring harnesses, and exhaust components will be free from substantial defects in material and workmanship under normal, intended off-road use.

2. What is Covered This limited warranty strictly covers manufacturing defects. If a tuning module fails to power on due to internal hardware failure, or if an exhaust component suffers from a structural weld failure under normal operating conditions within the warranty period, [Company Name] will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective component at no charge for the part itself.

3. Vehicle Factory Warranty & Liability Disclaimer IMPORTANT: Installation of aftermarket tuning devices and exhaust deletes WILL void your vehicle’s factory OEM powertrain warranty. [Company Name] expressly disclaims any liability for voided manufacturer warranties, engine damage, transmission failure, blown head gaskets, or drivetrain wear. You are modifying your heavy-duty truck at your own risk. Our warranty covers ONLY the product we sell, not the vehicle it is installed on.

4. What is STRICTLY NOT Covered This warranty does not cover damages resulting from user error, abuse, or external factors. Exclusions include, but are not limited to: bent or broken pins on OBDII connectors, water damage to tuning modules, heat damage from improper mounting, severed wiring harnesses, and exhaust discoloration or surface rust (which is normal). Furthermore, wrapping our exhaust pipes in aftermarket heat wrap traps moisture and will immediately void the exhaust warranty.

5. Labor, Towing, and Incidental Costs Under no circumstances does this warranty cover any incidental or consequential expenses. [Company Name] will not reimburse you or your mechanic for labor costs associated with the installation, removal, or troubleshooting of our products. We are also not responsible for towing fees, rental car costs, lost wages, or downtime incurred due to a product failure.

6. Software and Custom Tunes The software and digital tune files provided with our devices are provided “as is.” Because vehicle ECUs and mechanical conditions vary greatly, we do not guarantee specific horsepower gains or fuel economy (MPG) improvements. Software bugs or the need for a firmware update do not constitute a “defective” hardware product.

7. Non-Transferability This limited warranty extends ONLY to the original purchaser who bought the product directly from [Company Name] or an authorized dealer. It is completely non-transferable. If you sell your truck with our kit installed, or if you buy our kit second-hand from another user, the warranty is immediately voided.

8. Warranty Claim Process (RMA) To file a warranty claim, you must first contact our technical support team at [Support Email/Phone] to undergo basic troubleshooting. If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, you will be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You must include proof of original purchase (receipt or order number) and a detailed description of the failure. Packages sent without an RMA number will be refused.

9. Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims The customer is entirely responsible for the shipping costs and insurance required to send the suspected defective part to our facility for inspection. If the part is deemed defective and covered under this warranty, [Company Name] will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement part back to you via standard ground shipping.

10. Inspection and Testing Resolution Upon receiving your warranty claim, our technicians will bench-test the component. If the part is found to be defective, we will repair or replace it. However, if the part is tested and found to be fully functional (often the result of a truck-side electrical issue or improper installation), the warranty claim will be denied. In this case, the original part will be returned to the customer, and the customer will be responsible for the return shipping fees.
