CHECK YOUR RAM 2500 FITMENT
The 6.7 Cummins has been used in several versions of the RAM 2500, and they are not all set up exactly the same. Your model year is the best place to start when checking which TuneDiesel setup fits your truck.
HOW THE RAM 2500 KIT WORKS
The easiest way to look at the kit is as two parts doing different jobs on the same truck. Underneath, the factory aftertreatment section covered by the kit is replaced with the supplied exhaust parts. On the electronic side, the TuneDiesel device plugs into the truck through the supplied connections and handles the supported DPF and DEF functions. The factory ECU stays right where it is, and there is no separate device you need to keep in the cab.
WHY WE BUILT IT PLUG & PLAY
When we first started working on this kit, one thing kept coming up: we didn’t want another setup that meant pulling the ECU, sending parts out, or dealing with a bunch of extra programming. We wanted something we’d actually be comfortable installing on our own trucks. Simple wiring, factory-style connectors, and a setup that made sense from the start. That idea became one of the main goals behind the TuneDiesel kit, and it’s still how we look at every setup we build today.
